TEXT: LUKE 15: 18-21 

Luk 15:18 I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you.
Luk 15:19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants.”’
Luk 15:20 And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.
Luk 15:21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

IF YOU MAKE CHANGES, WHAT WILL IT STOP ?

1. CONFUSION AND BAD DECISIONS

Luk 15:13 Not many days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took a journey into a far country, and there he squandered his property in reckless living.

1. Father, I COMMAND every bad decision that I have been making for years that is killing me TO EXPIRE THIS YEAR!
2. That decision I am about to make AGAIN to go to where I am not needed – LORD, ABORT IT!
3. I decree – the days of bad choices is my life are over! In the name of Jesus.
4. Right now, the power of bad choices in my life is broken! In the name of Jesus.
5. The path that lead to decisions that causes destruction is ended in my life.

1Co 14:32 and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets.
1Co 14:33 For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,

6. The stronghold of confusion that always influences wrong decisions in my life, be destroyed!
7. The choices that has brought me turmoil and confusion for years – let your mercy set me free! I plead for mercy!

2. WRONG DIRECTION, WRONG DISTANCE AND WRONG LOCATION

Luk 15:13 Not many days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took a journey into a far country, and there he squandered his property in reckless living.

8. This direction that I have been facing religiously that will not augur well for me – I receive power to make a drastic change NOW!
9. Every location that I am heading to, that will not yield a positive dividend – Lord, give me power to STOP!
10. The day of pain in the future, give me power to avoid it now!
11. The day of regret in the future, give me power to stop it now!
12. Whatever I am spending energy on now that will end in disaster and pain – show me now and give me power to make changes.

3. WRONG ASSOCIATION WITH WRONG CHOICES
“reckless living” or ” Wild living”

13. Father, every relationship that I am involved in that is influencing me negatively – terminate it.
14. Every association that I have that promotes negativity and demotion, I change them!
15. Every useful and relevant association in my life that I have abandoned will be reactivated this year!

JONADAB HAD A NEGATIVE EFFECT ON AMNON! IT KILLED HIM!
2Sa 13:5 Jonadab told him, “Lie down on your bed and pretend to be sick. When your father comes to see you, ask him to send Tamar, so you can watch her cook something for you. Then she can serve you the food.”
2Sa 13:13 Think of me. I’ll be disgraced forever! And think of yourself. Everyone in Israel will say you’re nothing but trash! Just ask the king, and he will let you marry me.”
2Sa 13:14 But Amnon would not listen to what she said. He was stronger than she was, so he overpowered her and raped her.
2Sa 13:29 Absalom’s servants killed Amnon, just as Absalom had told them. The rest of the king’s sons quickly rode away on their mules to escape from Absalom.

16. Every “demon” that is wrapped in the cloth of a friend – expose them!
17. Every suggestion and proposal that will ultimately kill me prematurely – I reject them.
18. Every relationship including family and mentors that will bring me shame and agony – I reject them.
19. Every adviser that continues to lead me on and want to lead me into destruction, I change them now!

4. LOW SELF ESTEEM AND LOW CONFIDENCE

Luk 15:16 He would have been glad to eat what the pigs were eating, but no one gave him a thing.
Luk 15:19 I am no longer good enough to be called your son. Treat me like one of your workers.’ “

20. Father, every bad choice that is turning me into a pig or a dog in terms of behavior and lifestyle – have mercy and deliver me!
21. The spirit of a worthless pig, the spirit of a worthless dog, lose your hold in my life.
22. The craving for what is not mine, the craving for what that which is lower than me – destroy it Lord!
23. Whatever has taken away my rights and status – Daddy, reverse it.

5. SUFFERING AND STARVATION

Luk 15:17 Finally, he came to his senses and said, “My father’s workers have plenty to eat, and here I am, starving to death!

24. As I make these changes, all forms of SUFFERING in my life due to past bad choices – STOP!
25. As I make these changes, all forms of STARVATION in my life due to past bad choices – STOP!
26. As I make these changes, all forms of STAGNATION in my life due to past bad decisions – STOP!
27. I command you (insert name) wake up!
28. (insert name) Wake up and see! Wake up and walk! Wake up and fly!

6. LOSS OF STATUS AND CITIZENSHIP

Luk 15:21 The son said, “Father, I have sinned against God in heaven and against you. I am no longer good enough to be called your son.”
Luk 15:22 But his father said to the servants, “Hurry and bring the best clothes and put them on him. Give him a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet.

29. ALL THAT I HAVE LOST FOR YEARS DUE TO WRONG CHOICES – STATUS, FINANCES, RELATIONSHIPS – FATHER, I AM SORRY – REVERSE, RESTORE AND REPLENISH!
