TEXT: GENESIS 12:1-3

Gen 12:1 Now the LORD said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.
Gen 12:2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.
Gen 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

INTRODUCTION

When GOD leaves His majestic throne and visits a man, the equation changes! After Noah in chapter 9, we did not have any record that God spoke directly to any man again until Genesis 12. Yet there were a lot of people in different generations Chapter 10 and 11 and mentioned – some lived for 400 years plus and yet we had no record of God speaking to them!
Out of the blues In Genesis 12, we just heard God visiting Abram and speaking to him and see the effects!

WHEN GOD VISITS

A. SPEAKS TO HIM

Gen 12:1 Now the LORD said to Abram,

1. In the midst of multitudes, select me for divine encounter.
2. Lord in the name of Jesus – Visit me and change my history for good.
3. Take away every power of delay and attend to me ” NOW”
4. You spoke to the dead body and His spirit and life was restored – Lord, speak NOW and restore life.
5. Oh you power that works and causes stagnancy in the life of men – lose your hold on my life now!
6. In the name of Jesus, I command an end to the power and the spirit of delay in my life.
7. Every spirit of spiritual deafness and dumbness that is not allowing me to hear you – deliver me now!
8. Every history that has been following them in my family lineage that is not godly nor excellent – Lord, destroy them from my own generation.
9. Every history and bad story of what no one in my family history has ever achieved, Lord use me and my children to break the barrier!
10. I need a word urgently. SPEAK LIFE! SPEAK CHANGE! SPEAK GROWTH

B. GUIDES HIM

Gen 12:1 .. “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.

11. From wherever/whoever I need to leave or go FROM, I (INSERT YOUR NAME ) receives the power and grace to move away from it!
12. From wherever/whoever I need to leave or go TO, I (INSERT YOUR NAME ) receives the power and grace to move quickly it!
13. Anyone in my “kindred” or “nation” that I am attached to but is slowing me down, In your own way Lord disconnect us and do it this day!
14. That land of peace, That place of rest, That place of Joy, That place of safety – wherever it is – SHOW ME AND TAKE ME THERE!
15. Every spirit of error in judgment and decision that causes a man to regret, I bar you permanently from my life!

C. UNCOMMON HELP

Gen 12:2 ..And I will make of you a great nation,

16. Lord – Make me! Make my home! Make this church! Make my Ministry – GREAT!
17. Wherever my effort is failing and grossly inadequate – visit me and turn it around
18. Make me a sample of greatness and a testimony that God helps men! Make me a sample!
19. Lord I am ready, I am willing – make me great – Uncommonly great.
20. When you help a man, no man can lay claim to being his source. Lord be my source and MAKE IT PUBLIC!
21. Every defect in my life and temperament that will hinder me from complete fulfillment, My maker – repair it.
22. Perfect Maker – whether spiritual or physical – Heal me of all ailments.

D. LEGACY

Gen 12:2 “…and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.”

23. Bless me for real! Bless to the level that blessed people will see me and see Blessing standing!
24. Lord, Bless me in a way and to a level that is completely IRREVERSIBLE.
25. YOU visited and blessed JOSEPH and PROMPLTY he was remembered – Bless me and remember me for good.
26. Visit me and bless me to the level that your name and mine will become entangled together. Like Daniel, like Esther make me a life associate of the Kingdom.

E. BLESSING GENERATOR

Gen 12:2 “…so that you will be a blessing”

27. Visit me so much that I will become a blessing generator – anyone who connects with me must be blessed beyond measure.
28. Lord – what you need for this church, whatever you need for the kingdom – Bless me enough to meet it!
29. Beyond the needs of me and my family – MAKE ME A BLESSING AND A SOLUTION PROVIDER.

F. PROTECTION AND INSULATION

Gen 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse,

30. Let the answer to this prayers be irreversible. Let your blood insure my breakthroughs
31. Every battles that I have fought in life and for which you have given me victory – I decree that affliction will not arise again!
32. Fight my life battles! Lord fight for me!
33. Let your blood shield us all from curses!
34. I renounce and reject all forms of curses in OUR lives in the name of Jesus.

G. RELEVANCE

Gen 12:3 .. and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

35. I command in the name of Jesus, oh you ( insert your name) become relevant
