SPEED (PART 1) – HOUR OF POWER 18TH JULY 2018

TEXT – GEN 24:1-67

INTRODUCTION
I have seen many trying and generating a lot of energy with nothing to show for it! My desire today is that the Lord will crown your efforts with speed and results in the shortest possible and safest time in Jesus name!

A. SPEED IS IMPORTANT

Gen 24:12 And he said, O Jehovah, the God of my master Abraham, I pray You, send me good speed this day, and show kindness to my master Abraham.

1. Lord! destroy the stronghold of stagnancy permanently in my life!
2. Every spirit of pride and arrogance that has been deny me of opportunities and speed – lose your hold on my life.
3. Every sin that is killing my prayer life and confidence in the place of power – forgive me and cleanse me!
4. The speed and grace that I have seen others enjoy – give me a taste of it!
5. Remember me oh Lord and grant me speed again!

Rom 9:16 So then it is not of the one willing, nor of the one running, but of God, the One showing mercy.

6. I am trying but it is not enough – let your mercy bring me speed!
7. I am tired of catching up! Lord! give me the speed of a leader and a pacesetter!
8. This month, THIS DAY – grant me speed for excellence!

B. WHEN GOD GRANTS YOU DELIVERANCE, THINGS WILL BEGIN TO HAPPEN WITH SPEED – ASK MORDECAI AND THE JEWS AFTER THEY WERE DELIVERED FROM HAMAN

Est 8:8 But a proclamation issued in the king’s name and stamped with the royal seal cannot be revoked. You may, however, write to the Jews whatever you like; and you may write it in my name and stamp it with the royal seal.”
Est 8:10 Mordecai had the letters written in the name of King Xerxes, and he stamped them with the royal seal. They were delivered by riders mounted on fast horses from the royal stables.

9. Oh Lord of Heaven – upgrade me with speed!
10. I decree that every divine help that divine speed brings for me after now will be IRREVERSIBLE AND IRREVOCABLE.
11. The new level of joy that you have promised me from the beginning of this year – seal it with the stamp of Heaven!
12. THAT POSITION OF AUTHORITY WITH GOD AND MAN THAT EMPOWERS A MAN TO CHOOSE WHAT HE DECREES – TAKE ME THERE SPEEDILY!
13. Lord – before the end of this month, send your ministering angels to deliver my package of joy speedily

Est 8:14 At the king’s command the riders mounted royal horses and rode off at top speed. The decree was also made public in Susa, the capital city.
Est 8:15 Mordecai left the palace, wearing royal robes of blue and white, a cloak of fine purple linen, and a magnificent gold crown. Then the streets of Susa rang with cheers and joyful shouts.
Est 8:16 For the Jews there was joy and relief, happiness and a sense of victory.

14. The decree that will favor me, the instruction that will increase me – command it!
15. Before the end of this year, (insert your name or the name of the entity you want to pray for) – you will wear the royal robe of promotion – speedily!

C. THIS SPEED CAN WORK FOR YOU FROM WHEREVER YOU ARE!

Gen 24:13 Here I am at the well where the young women of the city will be coming to get water.

16. Daddy – find me and the works of my hands where I am at and grant me rest!
17. The missing link to my destiny achievement – show up speedily!
18. My helper, my supporter, my investor, my counselor, my adviser, my comforter… what are you waiting for – find me speedily!
19. The water, the well where solutions flow to – lead me there speedily!

D. THERE IS A GOD THAT GIVES SPEED!
” O GOD OF ABRAHAM…”

May God send us Good speed in Jesus name!!! You need God for speed!
Psa 127:1 .. Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it:
CEV – Without the help of the LORD it is useless to build a home or to guard a city.

20. I am tired of struggling – build it for me – speedily!
21. Lord! build my life, build my home, build my business

a. Men may help and assist but it is God that gives SPEED!
1 Co 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.
1 Co 3:7 So then neither is he who plants anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
1 Co 3:8 So he planting, and he watering, are one, and each one shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

22. In the name of Jesus – speedily – I receive increase!
23. From now, the covenant of speed will bring me rewards in Jesus name!
24. I decree, whatever I plant for the kingdom will not die!

b. There is also a God of men that anoints men to help other to get speed

He called on the God of Abraham.
Elisha too called on the Lord God of Elijah and water parted!
See the way the Psalmist put it
Psa 114:3 When the sea looked at God, it ran away, and the Jordan River flowed upstream.
Psa 114:4 The mountains and the hills skipped around like goats.

25. Every sea of pain in my life – see God and run away speedily!
26. Every mountain of struggle – what are you waiting for – skip and flee like goats!
27. Every fake man or woman of God that we know that is killing people’s destiny – expose and disgrace them!
28. Every Original man or woman of God that you have called but is struggling – give hope and strength!

c. God can use anything to give you solution speedily

Wash in River Jordan seven times
2Ki 5:10 Elisha sent someone outside to say to him, “Go wash seven times in the Jordan River. Then you’ll be completely cured.”
2Ki 5:11 But Naaman stormed off, grumbling, “Why couldn’t he come out and talk to me? I thought for sure he would stand in front of me and pray to the LORD his God, then wave his hand over my skin and cure me.
2Ki 5:12 What about the Abana River or the Pharpar River? Those rivers in Damascus are just as good as any river in Israel. I could have washed in them and been cured.”
2Ki 5:13 His servants went over to him and said, “Sir, if the prophet had told you to do something difficult, you would have done it. So why don’t you do what he said? Go wash and be cured.”

29. Lord let my ego not affect my speed!
30. Every spirit of pride that is designed to slow me down – uproot!
31. Everything that I have known from my early years that is hindering me from making progress – uproot!
32. When I see my breakthrough and am about to give up on it – send help!
33. Whatever instruction you give me from now that will give me speed – I WILL OBEY in Jesus name.

FOR IN JESUS NAME WE HAVE PRAYED!
