TEXT : 1 KINGS 21:1-16

1Ki 21:1 Near King Ahab’s palace in Jezreel there was a vineyard owned by a man named Naboth.
1Ki 21:2 One day Ahab said to Naboth, “Let me have your vineyard; it is close to my palace, and I want to use the land for a vegetable garden. I will give you a better vineyard for it or, if you prefer, I will pay you a fair price.”
1Ki 21:3 “I inherited this vineyard from my ancestors,” Naboth replied. “The LORD forbid that I should let you have it!”
1Ki 21:4 Ahab went home, depressed and angry over what Naboth had said to him. He lay down on his bed, facing the wall, and would not eat.
1Ki 21:5 His wife Jezebel went to him and asked, “Why are you so depressed? Why won’t you eat?”
1Ki 21:6 He answered, “Because of what Naboth said to me. I offered to buy his vineyard or, if he preferred, to give him another one for it, but he told me that I couldn’t have it!”
1Ki 21:7 “Well, are you the king or aren’t you?” Jezebel replied. “Get out of bed, cheer up, and eat. I will get you Naboth’s vineyard!”
1Ki 21:8 Then she wrote some letters, signed Ahab’s name to them, sealed them with his seal, and sent them to the officials and leading citizens of Jezreel.
1Ki 21:9 The letters said: “Proclaim a day of fasting, call the people together, and give Naboth the place of honor.
1Ki 21:10 Get a couple of scoundrels to accuse him to his face of cursing God and the king. Then take him out of the city and stone him to death.”
1Ki 21:11 The officials and leading citizens of Jezreel did what Jezebel had commanded.
1Ki 21:12 They proclaimed a day of fasting, called the people together, and gave Naboth the place of honor.
1Ki 21:13 The two scoundrels publicly accused him of cursing God and the king, and so he was taken outside the city and stoned to death.
1Ki 21:14 The message was sent to Jezebel: “Naboth has been put to death.”
1Ki 21:15 As soon as Jezebel received the message, she said to Ahab, “Naboth is dead. Now go and take possession of the vineyard which he refused to sell to you.”
1Ki 21:16 At once Ahab went to the vineyard to take possession of it.

PRAYER POINTS

A. UNWANTED ATTENTION/INTEREST

1Ki 21:2 One day Ahab said to Naboth, “Let me have your vineyard; it is close to my palace, and I want to use the land for a vegetable garden. I will give you a better vineyard for it or, if you prefer, I will pay you a fair price.”

1. Every unwanted and unproductive attention towards me and my family – Lord, cut it off.
2. ” Near King Ahab’s palace ” – Every location that I am that is making me prone to pain – relocate me Lord!
3. Every eyes that has resolved to take away anything that you have given me, shut it permanently.
4. Every relationship that I respect and celebrate but will not take me forward – show me and disconnect me from it.
5. Every random demonic attack in 2016 – you will fail.
6. No matter how good it looks, I will not lose my assets.
7. From bullies and thieves, preserve me!
8. Every plan of the devil to steal my identity because of the promise of fake better tomorrow – Lord Jesus – destroy such plans now!
B. PROTECTION OF INHERITANCE

1Ki 21:3 “I inherited this vineyard from my ancestors,” Naboth replied. “The LORD forbid that I should let you have it!”

9. Everything that makes me who I am – man, woman, bread winner etc – will not be lost in Jesus name.
10. All that you have given me as inheritance will not die Lord!
11. In every area my joy has been taken away – Lord restore it.
12. It is the gift of a man that makes way for me – Lord activate every dead gifts in my life.
13. In every area of my life that the devil is hurting me secretly or openly, Lord expose them

C. CONSPIRACY MUST FAIL

1Ki 21:7 “Well, are you the king or aren’t you?” Jezebel replied. “Get out of bed, cheer up, and eat. I will get you Naboth’s vineyard!”
1Ki 21:8 Then she wrote some letters, signed Ahab’s name to them, sealed them with his seal, and sent them to the officials and leading citizens of Jezreel.
1Ki 21:9 The letters said: “Proclaim a day of fasting, call the people together, and give Naboth the place of honor.

14. Lord! Lord! Every plan and meetings to prolong my suffering – scatter it!
15. Every Jezebel that has decided to spearhead the leadership of my failure – dethrone them.
16. Every counsel of Ahitophel that normally would not fail against me and my future – turn it to foolishness
17. Every fake ” place of honor” intended to send me into the wilderness of bareness – I reject it Lord.

D. TRIAL OF FAITH

1Ki 21:10 And set two men, sons of Belial, – KJV
1Ki 21:10 Get a couple of scoundrels to accuse him to his face of cursing God and the king – GNB
1Ki 21:10 And set two worthless men opposite him, – ESV

18. Lord preserve me and protect me from worthless men and their plans
19. Lord protect me against liars and every lies of the enemy.
20. In every of my life that my own acts has turned to worthless – turn it around Lord!

E. PREMATURED DEATH

1Ki 21:14 The message was sent to Jezebel: “Naboth has been put to death.”
1Ki 21:15 As soon as Jezebel received the message, she said to Ahab, “Naboth is dead. Now go and take possession of the vineyard which he refused to sell to you
21. Everything that You have given me that is about to die – Lord I speak life!
22. I insist, as the Lord lives, the power of death is broken in my life and that of my family.
23. Every old and new project in my life – LIVE!
24. That announcement that has been planned from hell about the failure of my spiritual life – I decree you will not happen
25. whatever it will take – I will fulfill my purpose.
F. INSURANCE
1Ki 21:16 Ahab got up and went to take over the vineyard.

26. Devil – enough! enough! enough
27. I am free! My dream will live
