6. RUTH MAXIMIZED THE FULL POWER OF MENTORSHIP AND NETWORKING

FACTS ABOUT MENTORSHIP AND NETWORKING FROM THE LIFE OF RUTH

1. SHE HAD A MENTOR AND A SUPPORT BASE IN NAOMI AND SHE DID NOT TAKE IT FOR GRANTED
Mentorship can be the difference between being average and being excellent!

Rth 1:19 SO THE TWO OF THEM WENT ON UNTIL THEY CAME TO BETHLEHEM. And when they came to Bethlehem, the whole town was stirred because of them. And the women said, “Is this Naomi?”

1. Every relationship in my life that is useless and is stopping me from fulfilling my God given dreams – Father, destroy it!
2. Everyone and everything that I have patterned my life after but will take me to nowhere – deliver me.
3. Every lifestyle and habit that I have learnt and acquired by virtue of where I was born that has become a liability – open my eyes and set me free.
4. Daddy, everyone you want to use to improve my lot but I am staying away from them – humble me to retrace my steps!

2. A GOOD MENTOR IS SOMEONE WHO HAS SOMETHING YOU DO NOT HAVE AND IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE MONEY!

Rth 1:16 But Ruth answered, “Don’t ask me to leave you! Let me go with you. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.

5. Anyone and any mentorship that will move me forward and make me unstoppable – Lord, lead me to them!
6. Anyone, any network, any mentorship that will give me assurance, confidence to pursue my dreams– Lord, give me now!
7. Anyone, any association, any mentorship that will increase my faith and confidence and give me comfort – Lord, give me now.
8. Every association – secret or open that I have been involved with for years that is killing my dreams– I break them now!

3. MENTORS KNOW WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW AND HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED

Rth 2:2 And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “let me go to the field and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I shall find favor.” AND SHE SAID TO HER, “GO, MY DAUGHTER.”

9. That voice of encouragement and hope to move forward – Daddy, send them to me!
10. Any eyes that sees and any brain that knows what I need to know and guide me into my promised land – connect me with them this month!
11. Every eyes and brain that is currently monitoring me and causing me pain – shut them permanently!

4. MENTORSHIP IS A CALLING, AN ASSIGNMENT – IT IS NOT JUST A TITLE.

Rth 2:23 So she kept close to the young women of Boaz, gleaning until the end of the barley and wheat harvests. AND SHE LIVED WITH HER MOTHER-IN-LAW.

12. Where I need to stay to move forward in life – let nothing make me leave the place prematurely!
13. Where I need to be to get a chance at greatness, help me to “live” there
14. From now, the spirit of a prodigal son that travels far away from mentorship and guidance will not work in my life!

5. MENTORSHIP HELPS YOU TO WORK IN THE RIGHT TIMING.

Rth 3:1 One day, Naomi said to Ruth: IT’S TIME I FOUND YOU A HUSBAND, WHO WILL GIVE YOU A HOME AND TAKE CARE OF YOU.
Rth 3:2 You have been picking up grain alongside the women who work for Boaz, and you know he is a relative of ours. Tonight he will be threshing the grain.

15. When the day comes for me to move forward, let a voice prompt me loud and clear until I move!
16. Give me the relationship that I need that will give me a joy, peace and rest!

“and you know he is a relative of ours”
17. Every hidden treasure in people around me that I do not know – show me now and help me to maximize it!
18. Make me relevant to every relative of mine – young or old.

6. WHEN MENTORS INSTRUCT, IT IS YOUR OWN DUTY TO OWN IT AND IMPLEMENT IT RIGHTLY

Rth 3:3 Wash therefore and anoint yourself, and put on your cloak and go down to the threshing floor, but do not make yourself known to the man until he has finished eating and drinking.
Rth 3:4 But when he lies down, observe the place where he lies. Then go and uncover his feet and lie down, and he will tell you what to do.”
RTH 3:5 AND SHE REPLIED, “ALL THAT YOU SAY I WILL DO.”

19. Detailed instructions that will move me from here to where I need to be – I will hear it this week!
20. Every spirit and power of confusion that is slowing me down from moving to my legacy – I bind you and command you to leave me alone.
21. For me to be unstoppable, baptize me with the spirit of humility and obedience!

7. MENTORSHIP AND SOLID SUPPORT NETWORK WILL HELP DIRECT AND CONTROL YOUR SPEED!

Rth 3:18 She replied, “Wait, my daughter, until you learn how the matter turns out, for the man will not rest but will settle the matter today.”

22. I decree, (insert name), when you need to wait, you will not move!
23. I decree, (insert name), when you need to move, you will not wait!
24. I decree, (insert name), you will not run faster or slower than the speed of your breakthrough!

7. UNSTOPPABLE PEOPLE USE WHAT THEY HAVE TO GET THE LEGACY THEY DREAM OF AND THEY DO NOT GIVE UP ON THEIR DREAMS!

Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Rth 4:13 So Boaz took Ruth, AND SHE BECAME HIS WIFE. And he went in to her, and the LORD GAVE HER CONCEPTION, AND SHE BORE A SON.
Rth 4:14 Then the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the LORD, who has not left you this day without a redeemer, and may his name be renowned in Israel!
Rth 4:15 He shall be to you a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age, for your daughter-in-law who loves you, who is more to you than seven sons, has given birth to him.”
Rth 4:16 Then Naomi took the child and laid him on her lap and became his nurse.
Rth 4:17 And the women of the neighborhood gave him a name, saying, “A son has been born to Naomi.” They named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David.

25. For every lost cause that I have had, I will smile again!

“Blessed be the LORD, who has not left you this day without a redeemer,”
26. For my sake and that of my family, there will be a celebration and the name of the Lord will be praised.
27. The legacy of fruitfulness will follow me for the rest of my life!

“Then Naomi took the child and laid him on her lap and became his nurse. “
28. For all these prayers and cries, I will have results! Tangible results.
29. The voice of celebrations, the noise of announcements of God’s goodness and greatness in my life – BREAK FORTH.
