What the enemy meant for evil

On the 14 th of January, I was onboard an Aircraft to the United Kingdom for a Company
Meeting. About 2 hours into the flight the Pilot made an announcement that due to a
technical issue he would be returning to Lagos. He refused to give details about the
issue so as not to alarm the passengers onboard and good enough it was a night flight
so most people were asleep – otherwise there might have been pandemonium. At that
point I committed the Aircraft into the Hands of God trusting Him to take control and
land us safely in Lagos and to the Glory of God we were able to land safely and at that
point it was noticeable that indeed there was a problem with the Aircraft. After a few
hours of waiting, we were taken to a Hotel to rest and provided with everything we
needed and later in the evening when the plane was fixed we boarded again and God
landed us safely in London Heathrow early on Monday. I was already contemplating
how to get to one of the Airport Hotels so I can be on time to catch my next flight which
was about 7 hours away, only for us to disembark and realize that the Airline had made
provision to accommodate us at the Terminal 5 Sofitel Hotel and they also gave a
voucher for refreshments. When I entered the room, I looked around and said to myself
whatever the enemy had planned for evil the Lord has turned it around for my good. On
Wednesday I joined the Hour of Power and EVB was singing “What the enemy meant
for evil, God has turned it around for my good” – I knew immediately this was a
confirmation of my testimony. Hallelujah! May God continue to bless and prosper the
ministry of EVB and the entire HOP Family.
