Prayer points for Hour of Power Interdenominational Meeting of  15th November,2017

TEXT ACTS 9:36-42

Act 9:36  Now there was in Joppa a disciple named Tabitha, which, translated, means Dorcas. She was full of good works and acts of charity.

Act 9:37  In those days she became ill and died, and when they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.

Act 9:38  Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, urging him, “Please come to us without delay.”

Act 9:39  So Peter rose and went with them. And when he arrived, they took him to the upper room. All the widows stood beside him weeping and showing tunics and other garments that Dorcas made while she was with them.

Act 9:40  But Peter put them all outside, and knelt down and prayed; and turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

Act 9:41  And he gave her his hand and raised her up. Then calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.

Act 9:42  And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.

FATHER IN THE NAME OF JESUS….

1. Every affliction and disease intended to kill me – I terminate you now!
2. I will not die before completing my race! I will fulfill destiny!
3. “ full of good works” – Before I leave – Let my life matter. FILL ME UP WITH RELEVANCE.
4. “ In those days” – Every scheduled day of mourning, I abort you.

Psa 118:17  I will not die; instead, I will live and proclaim what the LORD has done.

5. I declare that I ( insert your name) will not die but live to proclaim what you have done.
6. I declare that You ( insert your family members names) will not die but live to proclaim what you have done.
7. I declare that You ( insert your interests – business, investments) will not die but live to proclaim what you have done.
8. Every program every software that is written to cut me short, I erase in Jesus name!

Act 9:38  Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, urging him, “Please come to us without delay.”

Act 9:39  So Peter rose and went with them. And when he arrived, they took him to the upper room. All the widows stood beside him weeping and showing tunics and other garments that Dorcas made while she was with them.

9. When they send for me, it will be for good news not bad news.
10. Whoever you have decided to use as a point of contact to help me, send them.
11. Even when I am not there, raise a voice of change for me.
12. That man, that woman that you have ordained to be the key for my breakthrough – let them arise!
13. Every stronghold that wants to block the arrival of my help – be uprooted  in the name of Jesus.

“All the widows stood beside him weeping and showing tunics and other garments that Dorcas made while she was with them.”

14. My chapter will not be closed!
15. That gathering to commiserate with me will not happen in Jesus name.
16. I reject premature CONCLUSION, Lord – let me finish and finish well.
17. They were planning for a burial but God had other plans! Lord – show up! Turn it around.

 In the name of Jesus I will not be discussed in past tense!

     18. In the name of Jesus, I refuse to give up!

19. Lord, even when I cannot see a turnaround – show me mercy and turn it around!
20. Every burial service being planned for my ( marriage, home, finances) – be aborted
21. Everyone waiting for a burial service around me – show them! Just show them!

Act 9:40  But Peter put them all outside, and knelt down and prayed; and turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

23. Lord, I believe you! Lord, I believe you – IT IS WELL WITH ME!
24. I close my ears and eyes to negative news – I shut the door!
25. Every spirit of distraction telling me I am hopeless – I bind you  and cast you out of my life and destiny!
26. Everything that I see or have that keeps reminding me that it is over – I SHUT THE DOOR in Jesus name.
27. The noise of failure and bitterness, I shut the door against you.
28. From now, the grace and power of answered prayers will work for me!
29. I covenant from today – I will not kneel in vain! I will not pray in vain!
30. Everything that I have turned away and ignored thus leading to pain! I confront you – receive life!

“Tabitha, arise.” Tabitha mean female or christian female

31. In the name of Jesus (insert your name) – ARISE! GET UP!
32. In the name of Jesus (insert the name of someone and something awaiting “burial” ) – ARISE! GET UP!
33. I command that as the Lord lives, I will see/experience ( money, growth etc ) again!

 Act 9:41  Peter reached over and helped her get up. Then he called all the believers, including the widows, and presented her alive to them.

Act 9:42  The news about this spread all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord.

34. LORD I DECREE THAT BY THE TIME YOU HAVE FINISHED WITH ME – THE WHOLE WORLD WILL CELEBRATE WITH ME!

IN JESUS NAME WE HAVE PRAYED! AMEN!
