TEXT: I KINGS 19: 1-8

ENCOURAGEMENT WILL COME! AND IT WILL BE UNLIMITED! IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

1. DIVINE ENCOUNTER!

1Ki 19:5 And he lay down and slept under a broom tree. And behold, AN ANGEL TOUCHED HIM and said to him, “Arise and eat.”

JACOB TRANSITION TO ISRAEL

Gen 32:25 When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket, and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him.
Gen 32:26 Then he said, “Let me go, for the day has broken.” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”
Gen 32:27 And he said to him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Jacob.”
Gen 32:28 Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.”

1. Father, the encounter that will change my life for good and encourage me, give me now!
2. That touch of life, that touch of help, that touch of hope – touch my life now!
3. In whatever area of my life that I am sleeping – encourage me and touch me now!
4. Lord, touch me until I wake up! encourage everything in my life that is about to die!
5. Father, I will not go today until you bless me! Bless me Lord! Bless me Indeed!

FOR HEALING!
Mat 8:3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Mat 8:15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

6. Father, the touch of encouragement through healing – release it on me!
7. Lord! When you touch, strangers and strange things flee! Every fever attacking my life and destiny – touch me and let them flee.

2. CHANGE OF NAME!

Gen 32:28 The man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob. You have wrestled with God and with men, and you have won. That’s why your name will be Israel.”

8. Every name that I carry that symbolizes a dead end – encourage me and change it now!
9. Every prefix and tags to my name that has rendered me a second class citizen – REMOVE NOW!
10. I DECLARE CONCERNING YOU, ( INSERT NAME) – YOU HAVE PREVAILED! YOU HAVE WON

Isa 62:4 Your name will no longer be “Deserted and Childless,” but “Happily Married.” You will please the LORD; your country will be his bride.
Isa 62:5 Your people will take the land, just as a young man takes a bride. The LORD will be pleased because of you, just as a husband is pleased with his bride.

11. Encourage me Lord and change my name permanently for good!
12. Everything in my life now that makes me look “forsaken” and “deserted” – STOP
13. From now, I covenant that I will be sort after for good
14. Every land that has been assigned for me, I will possess and take it.
15. I decree that because of (insert name), The Lord and the Heavens will celebrate continually.
16. Unlimited encouragement that brings satisfaction – release it upon my life

Isa 62:11 Here is what the LORD has said for all the earth to hear: “Soon I will come to save the city of Zion, and to reward you.
Isa 62:12 Then you will be called, ‘The LORD’s Own People, The Ones He Rescued!’ Your city will be known as a good place to live and a city full of people.”

17. Speedily – save me now! Save me from rot! Save me from stagnancy!
18. Encourage me with results! Encourage me with rewards!
19. Encourage me and change my name for great things!
20. By the end of this year- let it be obvious to the whole world that God rescued me!
21. From now I decree, I and my family will be known as “excellent” and “delivered”

3. HE WILL USE ANYTHING AND ANYONE TO ENCOURAGE YOU – LIVING AND NON LIVING THINGS!

STRANGERS
2Ki 4:8 One day Elisha went to Shunem, where a rich woman lived. She invited him to a meal, and from then on every time he went to Shunem he would have his meals at her house.
2Ki 4:9 She said to her husband, “I am sure that this man who comes here so often is a holy man.
2Ki 4:10 Let’s build a small room on the roof, put a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp in it, and he can stay there whenever he visits us.”

22. Father, this week, this month – use strangers to encourage me and meet my needs!
23. Today, encourage a mouth to speak for me!
24. For my encouragement, release my needs to the right person to meet it
25. Father we pray for the ministry – Banji Adesanmi Ministry and Inspaya programs – meet their needs!
26. When my helpers speak out on my behalf – encourage them to help and encourage me!

RAVENS
1Ki_17:6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.

27. Even things that cannot speak – use them! Use anything to encourage me!

YOUR MOUTH
Jer_1:9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

28. From now , I dedicate my mouth as a source of encouragement!
29. As the Lord lives, I will not speak discouragement. I speak life!

4. PROVIDING FOR YOU!

1Ki 19:6 And he looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on hot stones and a jar of water. And he ate and drank and lay down again.

30. Lord, encourage me with abundance!
31. From now, wherever I look and whenever I look, I will see provision!

” And he ate and drank and lay down again.”
32. From now, the food that will give me pain – physical and spiritually I will not eat.
33. As the God of encouragement lives, my family and I will never beg for food again!
34. Same way you provide for sparrows, provide for all that concerns me with speed!

5. FIGHT FOR YOU AND FIGHT WITH YOU!

God fought with and for Mordecai against Haman

Est 6:6 So Haman came in, and the king said to him, “What should be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?” And Haman said to himself, “Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?”
Est 6:7 And Haman said to the king, “For the man whom the king delights to honor,
Est 6:8 let royal robes be brought, which the king has worn, and the horse that the king has ridden, and on whose head a royal crown is set.
Est 6:9 And let the robes and the horse be handed over to one of the king’s most noble officials. Let them dress the man whom the king delights to honor, and let them lead him on the horse through the square of the city, proclaiming before him: ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor.'”
Est 6:10 Then the king said to Haman, “Hurry; take the robes and the horse, as you have said, and do so to Mordecai the Jew, who sits at the king’s gate. Leave out nothing that you have mentioned.”

35. LORD! use the foolishness of my enemies to encourage me!
36. Encourage me by taking the battle from my hand and giving me rest!
37. Use the brain and the hand of my enemies to arrange my promotion!
38. Father, fight for me! fight with me!
39. Make me and my breakthroughs so strong and let my enemies be surprised at your faithfulness in my life.
40. BEFORE THE END OF THIS YEAR – ENCOURAGE ME WITH A PROCLAMATION OF YOUR POWER AND GRACE.

6. REMEMBERING YOU!

All your past efforts – God will remember it in the name of Jesus!

JOSEPH

Gen 41:9 Then the wine steward said to the king, “I must confess today that I have done wrong.
Gen 41:12 A young Hebrew was there with us, a slave of the captain of the guard. We told him our dreams, and he interpreted them for us.
Gen 41:14 The king sent for Joseph, and he was immediately brought from the prison. After he had shaved and changed his clothes, he came into the king’s presence.

41. Father, encourage me by remembering me NOW!
42. From now let all the good things I have sown in the past stand up and encourage me in multiple folds!
43. My helper! Me helper! My helper! For my encouragement – REMEMBER ME!
44. My period of waiting, my years of toiling with nothing tangible to show for it – END!
45. All forms of secret tears and internal hurts that I have carried for years, encourage me and intervene now!
