When God want to intervene in the life of a man, he starts with a Word!

Dan 10:11  And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. 
Dan 10:12  Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 
Dan 10:13  But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

1. Thank you, Lord because I have hope!
2. I am grateful Daddy because you will step in and my delay will be over.
3. Heavenly Father, send me a word that will change the course of my destiny.

Dan 10:14  Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

4. Give me a word that is pregnant – pregnant with my destiny and pregnant with my future.
5. As the Lord lives, my future will not be aborted.
6. “Now I have come” – Lord arrive now in my situation. Lord now!
7. Give me words that will continually bring me breakthroughs for the rest of my life.

The people of samaria knew the cause of the delay of their breakthrough but there was  little they could do! In their case they started with the word and the mechanism started. 


2Ki 7:1  Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria

Bishop Oyedepo said if it is too big for your mouth, it most likely will be too big for your destiny. 

8. Father in the Name of Jesus, beyond what I see in the negative, I prophesy, my struggling will end.
9. I decree the end of scarcity of things that gives men joy in my life – love, money, peace, health – according to the word of the Lord – come in abundance.

HIS WAYS ARE NOT YOUR WAYS
2Ki 7:3  And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

10. Lord, surprise me! Before this year ends – Lord surprise me.
11. Let my breakthrough this year override my negative status.
12. Lord, use my story to confound the world!
13. Send me help from “outside the city” where the key to my breakthrough reside – locate and activate it.
14. Now I may be treated as an outcast – send me breakthroughs that will change my status.
15. Let me be the contact that will be bring change to my generation.

BREAKTHROUGHS START WITH CONVERSATIONS AND QUESTIONS

16. Help me Lord to ask questions that will bring my breakthrough.
17. Let me not keep seating when I should be acting? Every force that is striving to keep me down – be terminated in Jesus Name.
18. Ruffle my weather Lord that I may make changes.

BREAKTHROUGHS MAY DEMAND RISK TAKING

2Ki 7:4  If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

19. Daddy, change my spiritual eye lenses to see beyond the risk and make the move towards my breakthrough
20. In midst of hard options, let your favor do that which is best for me.

WHEN IT IS TIME FOR BREAKTHROUGH, THERE IS NO PLACE FOR DELAY


2Ki 7:5  And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.

21. Lord before my breakthrough, let me not breakdown.
22. My father, during my breakthrough, let me not slack!
23. After my breakthrough cycle, give me the grace to be vigilant and let my breakthrough be permanent!

WHEN GOD DOES IT, HE DOES IT IN A WAY NO MAN CAN TAKE HIS GLORY


2Ki 7:6  For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.
2Ki 7:7  Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.


24. Lord, “ make it happen” for me too!
25. When the list of great men and men with uncommon breakthroughs are compiled this year, let my name not be excluded.
26. Every stronghold that has caused a siege against me and my destiny, Lord, Harrass them and cause them to flee.
27. In the name of Jesus, I command you spirit of failure to let go of me!

ABUNDANT BREAKTHROUGH HAS GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU CURRENT LACK


2Ki 7:8  And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.

28. Finally, I will break through!
29. Finally, I will breakthrough big time.
30. Everything I have not seen nor touch in a long time – I will see it  and touch it again.
31. As the Lord lives, there will be enough and left over in Jesus name.

ORIGINAL BREAKTHROUGH IS BIGGER THAN YOU!


2Ki 7:9 Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.

32. Lord, I extend my faith – send me not common breakthroughs. Send me breakthrough big enough to bless my generation!
33. Give me breakthrough that I can proudly share publicly!

DIVINE BREAKTHROUGH  BRING PROPHECHIES TO PASS
2Ki 7:16  And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the LORD.

33. Daddy, as you have spoken, Let the word come to pass!

2Ki 7:17  And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.

34. I will not only see it, I will partake in Jesus Name!
35. I pray that every enemy of progress around me do not die but be alive to witness what you will do. After that, if they refuse to repent – they can go!

36. Thank you Lord because my breakthrough is here.

When God remembers, He operates in certain ways.

A. He gives you a new thing

He gives you what you have not seen, or touched or experienced before.

1 Sam 1:19-20  And they rose up in the morning early, and worshiped before Jehovah, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and Jehovah remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.

This has different dimensions.

Sight
1. Remember me Lord, whatever or wherever or whoever New place or thing (country, town, opportunity etc) I need to see that my joy may be full, let me see it this year.

Touch
2. Remember me Lord, whatever or wherever or whoever New place or thing to touch (baby, employment letter, new car keys, my own wedding bridal gown etc) here are my hands, take them and let them touch them.

Knowledge
3. Remember me Lord, whatever or wherever or whoever New place or thing I need to know (revelation, training, secret etc), open the well of wisdoms unto me.

Speech and Song
4. By the anointing that brings remembrance, before this year runs out, I will sing a new song.
4b. Lord do something that will change my language for good!

Garment
Luk 15:22  But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
5. By the reason of the anointing that brings remembrance, before this year runs out, I will wear a new garment.

6. Lord, turn my season around that I can carry your authority and execute your counsel.
7. Remember me that my phones will ring again with good news, remember me  again that I may have somewhere productive to go!

B. He uses remembrance to kickstart change. He makes up for lost time. He reverses time.

Exo_2:24  And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25  And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.

8. Lord remember me and hear my cries.
9. Lord remember me and free me from all internal and external opposition.
10. Lord your compassion never fails, let me walk in your compassion and sort me out.

Gen_21:17  And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.
Gen 21:18  Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. 
Gen 21:19  And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

11. Remember me and release the forces of heaven to help me!
12. My father I am tired of walking helter skelter. Hear my voice where I am! Lord! here and right now, give me rest.
13. Remember me that I may arise!
14. All that I have and all that I am, I give back to you, let your mercy start a new process on my behalf.
15. Remember me that I may see where my solution is.
16. As the Lord liveth, every good thing that gives me Joy will not die in my hand.

C. He uses mercy in abundance

You may not deserve it. You may not earn it. No one in your background or family history has ever received such grace but when you are remembered, you experience mercy.

Ps 106:45  And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

17. I may not deserve help because of my past, show me mercy, let mercy bring me help!
18. I don’t want a token, I want to experience a shower of your mercy.

Neh 13: 22  And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.

19. My father, remember me, spare me and show me mercy.
20. Lord let the standard of your remembrance be a function of your mercy.
21. Let the  greatness of your mercy make me great.

Luke 23:42  And he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.

43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

22. Remember me Lord that judgement will not prevail over my destiny
23. Whatever the judgement is, “today” Lord reverse it.

Gen 8:1  And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;

24. Remember me that the flood of evil recurrent events will cease.
25. Let the power of your remembrance blow the wind of change into my life.
26. Remember me such that every living thing dependent on me will not suffer.
27. Remember me divine helper in your mercy so I may be lifted.

D. He gives one more chance 

Samson is a very good example of remembrance
He never writes off his covenant
28. Lord don’t write me off. Lord remember your covenant.

1 Samuel 16:20  and shouted, “Samson, the Philistines are attacking!” Samson woke up and thought, “I’ll break loose and escape, just as I always do.” He did not realize that the LORD had stopped helping him.

29. Lord wherever I messed up. Let mercy prevail and restore me.
30. Help me again o lord. Remember me and help me again.
31. You left Samson and he became useless. Lord visit me again. I need your presence. Lord I need it now.

1 Samuel 16:28  Samson prayed, “Please remember me, LORD God. The Philistines poked out my eyes, but make me strong one last time, so I can take revenge for at least one of my eyes!”

32. Lord, remove my shame – forever and permanently.
33. Remember me and Restore my eyesight.
34. Vengeance is yours, fight for me.
35. When this chance comes, let me not waste it again.

Despite the human assessment of how his story ended, He completed his mandate.

1 Samuel 16:30 And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

Remember, his life mandate was to deliver from the philistines

36.Lord, remember me that I may finish well!
37. Lord, remember me so that I will do more at my end than at my beginning!
