DON’T STOP!

1. WHEN IT IS TIME TO EXECUTE YOUR ASSIGNMENT AND CALLING – DO NOT STOP!

2Sa 11:1 The following spring, at the time of the year when kings usually go to war, David sent out Joab with his officers and the Israelite army; they defeated the Ammonites and besieged the city of Rabbah. But David himself stayed in Jerusalem.

2Sa 11:2 One day, in the afternoon, David got up from his nap and went to the palace roof. AS HE WALKED AROUND UP THERE, he saw a woman taking a bath in her house. She was very beautiful.

STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING OR ANYONE THAT WANTS TO INCAPACITATE YOU AND TURN YOU TO A WANDERER!

GNB – Pro 24:30 I walked through the fields and vineyards of a lazy, stupid person.
Pro 24:31 They were full of thorn bushes and overgrown with weeds. The stone wall around them had fallen down.
Pro 24:32 I looked at this, thought about it, and learned a lesson from it:
Pro 24:33 Go ahead and take your nap; go ahead and sleep. Fold your hands and rest awhile,
Pro 24:34 but while you are asleep, poverty will attack you like an armed robber.

1. Father, when I should be busy at work or at “war” fulfilling my assignment, I will not be at home sleeping!
2. I decree, the power of complacency, the spirit of “settling for less” is destroyed in my life.
3. As the Lord lives, I will not stop and become vulnerable to affliction, diseases and infirmities.

2Sa 11:2 One day, late in the afternoon, David got up from his nap and went to the palace roof. AS HE WALKED AROUND UP THERE, he saw a woman taking a bath in her house. She was very beautiful.

4. Stand up and declare – father, I will not be a wanderer. From today I will not wander to nowhere!
5. Anything in my life now or in my past that is still incapacitating me from being busy with my purpose in life – Father, incapacitate them! E gba agbara lowo won!
6. I will not wake up to “evil” suggestions and manipulations! I will not submit to suggestions that will destroy me!
7. From today, I will no longer be vulnerable! I will not be vulnerable to temptations!
8. Whatever it is that is “beautiful” to behold but will stress me, Lord! Help me to walk away!

Pro 24:31 They were full of thorn bushes and overgrown with weeds. The stone wall around them had fallen down.

9. The stronghold of laziness that allows bushes and overgrown weeds to thrive in the life of a man is broken in my life today! It is broken now!
10. I destroy the power and curse of laziness and negligence in my life now!

Pro 24:33 Go ahead and take your nap; go ahead and sleep. Fold your hands and rest awhile,
Pro 24:34 but while you are asleep, poverty will attack you like an armed robber.

11. Whatever I need to do, whatever I can do that will shield me away from poverty will not expire! Poverty and regret will not sneak up on me!

DON’T STOP!

2. EVEN WHEN YOU ARE TIRED OR SUFFERING A SEASON OF DISCOURAGEMENT.

IF YOU STOP WHEN DISCOURAGED, IT CAN TERMINATE YOUR CALLING!

ELIJAH’S EXPERIENCE

1Ki 19:1 King Ahab told his wife Jezebel everything that Elijah had done and how he had put all the prophets of Baal to death.
1Ki 19:2 She sent a message to Elijah: “May the gods strike me dead if by this time tomorrow I don’t do the same thing to you that you did to the prophets.”
1Ki 19:3 Elijah was afraid and fled for his life; he took his servant and went to Beersheba in Judah. Leaving the servant there,

BE CAREFUL WHAT COMES OUT OF YOUR MOUTH – IT CAN STOP YOU!

1Ki 19:4 Elijah walked a whole day into the wilderness. He stopped and sat down in the shade of a tree and wished he would die. “It’s too much, LORD,” he prayed. “TAKE AWAY MY LIFE; I MIGHT AS WELL BE DEAD!”

GOD WILL ENCOURAGE YOU! DON’T STOP AND DON’T GIVE UP!

1Ki 19:5 He lay down under the tree and fell asleep. Suddenly an angel touched him and said, “Wake up and eat.”
1Ki 19:6 He looked around and saw a loaf of bread and a jar of water near his head. He ate and drank, and lay down again.
1Ki 19:7 The LORD’s angel returned and woke him up a second time, saying, “Get up and eat, or the trip will be too much for you.”

1Ki 19:5 He lay down under the tree and fell asleep. Suddenly an angel touched him and said, “Wake up and eat.”

12. Ni oruko Jesu, ko ni remi! Ko ni sumi! I will not be tired! I will not be burnt out to the level of abandoning my destiny!
13. When I am hungry and scared, Lord, feed me! Lift me UP!

YOU CAN TAKE A REST BUT DON’T TAKE YOUR EYES OFF YOUR PURPOSE! DO NOT DROP THE BALL!

1Ki 19:13 When Elijah heard it, he covered his face with his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. A voice said to him, “Elijah, what are you doing here?”
1Ki 19:14 He answered, ” LORD God Almighty, I have always served you—you alone. But the people of Israel have broken their covenant with you, torn down your altars, and killed all your prophets. I am the only one left—and they are trying to kill me.”

1Ki 19:15 The LORD said, “Return to the wilderness near Damascus, then enter the city and anoint Hazael as king of Syria;
1Ki 19:16 anoint Jehu son of Nimshi as king of Israel, and anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet.
1Ki 19:17 Anyone who escapes being put to death by Hazael will be killed by Jehu, and anyone who escapes Jehu will be killed by Elisha.

YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE! BE CAREFUL – AVOID “WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME” SYNDROME.

1Ki 19:18 Yet I will leave seven thousand people alive in Israel—all those who are loyal to me and have not bowed to Baal or kissed his idol.”

DON’T STOP

3.EVEN WHEN THEY DO NOT BELIEVE IN YOU!

DAVID TURNED AWAY FROM HIS BLOOD BROTHER THAT WANTS TO STOP HIS MANIFESTATION!

1Sa 17:28 Eliab, David’s oldest brother, heard David talking to the men. He became angry with David and said, “What are you doing here? Who is taking care of those sheep of yours out there in the wilderness? You smart aleck, you! You just came to watch the fighting!”
1Sa 17:29 “Now what have I done?” David asked. “Can’t I even ask a question?”
1Sa 17:30 He turned to another man and asked him the same question, and every time he asked, he got the same answer.

JOSEPH’S BROTHER DID NOT BELIEVE IN HIM BUT HE DID NOT STOP!

1Sa 17:30 He turned to another man and asked him the same question, and every time he asked, he got the same answer.

14. When men are hell bent to stop me because they do not believe in me, give me the grace not to stop!
15. Even when and where I have been told repeatedly that I am a failure – Let your grace show that I am a winner!

DON’T STOP!

4. EVEN WHEN YOU ARE WEARY OF GIVING, SERVING AND SOWING!

YOU WILL REAP IN DUE SEASON IF YOU DON’T STOP!

GNB – Gal 6:9 So let us not become tired of doing good; (KJV – And let us not grow weary of doing good, ) for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest.
Gal 6:10 So then, as often as we have the chance, we should do good to everyone, and especially to those who belong to our family in the faith.
