TEXT: GENESIS 40:21-23, 41:1-END
Delay is not denial. Delay is not the end of the world. There is a God that tackles Delays! He is more powerful than all the delays of this world combined. Joseph has it rough till he ended in the prison. Every morning, he was hoping that help will come but it was delayed for weeks and months! Even the Chief Butler and Chief Baker struggled with delay. Joseph was hardworking! He was there for no fault of his! Today, the stronghold of delay is broken in Jesus name! We use these principles to shoot and the Lord will listen.
Gen 40:21 And he restored the chief cupbearer back into his cupbearer office again. And he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand.
Gen 40:22 But he hanged the chief baker, even as Joseph had interpreted to them.
Gen 40:23 Yet the chief cupbearer did not remember Joseph, but forgot him.
FATHER IN THE NAME OF JESUS
In the name of Jesus, The delay I am experiencing now or may have experienced will not lead to terminal pain!
- In the name of Jesus, The delay I am experiencing now or may have experienced will not lead to UNTIMELY death! I will outlive the plague and power of delay.
- Every verdict that says my best days are over – I command such pronouncements cancelled in Jesus name.
- Everyone and everything that you intend to use to terminate delay in my life – Lord preserve them!
” And he restored the chief cupbearer back into his cupbearer office again”
- Lord! Restore (insert name or what you what restored) again! Restore now! Restore speedily in the name of Jesus.
” even as Joseph had interpreted to them.”
- Every demonic and negative pronouncement made against my future and destiny – Be terminated in Jesus name.
- Every word that you have released in my life from the past that is “hanging” – Lord! Open my heavens and that of my family members.
” Gen 40:23 but the king’s personal servant completely forgot about Joseph.”
- In the name of Jesus, I will not be forgotten.
- (call your name or the name of the issue/item experiencing delay) – You will not be forgotten! In the name of Jesus.
Gen 41:1 AND IT HAPPENED at the end of TWO YEARS OF DAYS, Pharaoh DREAMED. And behold, he stood by the river.
Gen 41:5 And he slept and DREAMED THE SECOND TIME. And behold! Seven ears of grain came up on one stock, fat and good!
Gen 41:8 AND IT HAPPENED IN THE MORNING that his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men of it. And Pharaoh told them his dream, BUT THERE WAS NONE WHO COULD INTERPRET THEM TO PHARAOH.
- Lord! I am overdue – Let it happen! Whatever is the “game changer” – Lord let it happen now! make it happen right away!
- Against all forms of delay and its intensity, I proclaim deliverance
” at the end of TWO YEARS OF DAYS”
- In the name of Jesus, the days of endless waiting and delays for your break and breakthrough are ended!
- I declare that the “two years”, two months, weeks of waiting and delay is ENDED! In Jesus name
- Every dream that must be dreamed to kick start change in my life will happen this month.
- Every dream killers that is roaming for the rest of this year to snuff life out of hope and victory for me – I terminate you in Jesus name!
“ AND IT HAPPENED IN THE MORNING”
- IN the name of Jesus – this is my morning! That event that will fundamentally end delay permanently – happen now!
“ BUT THERE WAS NONE WHO COULD INTERPRET THEM TO PHARAOH.”
- For delay to end – create space for me Lord!
- From the North, South, East, West – Create a NEED for me!
- Delays causes others to take people’s places. Someone else was doing the chief butler’s job when he was in prison!
- Every stranger taking the space originally designed for me, remove them! restore me
- Every stranger “forming” and “acting” in such ways that is delaying my next level increase, Please make their failure glaring.
CEV – Gen 41:9 The king’s personal servant said: Now I remember what I was supposed to do.
GNB – Gen 41:9 Then the wine steward said to the king, “I must confess today that I have done wrong.
- Every “brain”, memory that has forgotten me and they are needed for the power of delay to be broken in my life – Lord – reset them! Reboot them that this delay will end this day and this new month.
- Everyone you intend to use to grant me and my family rest from delay – Wake them up to remember us!
” Now I remember”
- LORD – REMEMBER (insert your name and name of others of things that has been suffering from delays)
Gen 41:10 When you were angry with me and your chief cook, you threw us both in jail in the house of the captain of the guard.
Gen 41:11 One night we both had dreams, and each dream had a different meaning.
Gen 41:12 A young Hebrew, who was a servant of the captain of the guard, was there with us at the time. When we told him our dreams, he explained what each of them meant,
Gen 41:13 and everything happened just as he said it would. I got my job back, and the cook was put to death.
- Even for the hardest of delay strongholds – use the past testimonies of your faithfulness to destroy them.
- Let your faithfulness in times past speak for me!
- From Shunamite woman to Rebekkah, God used their gifts and abilities to open doors for them – Lord!
- ACTIVATE my “giftings” and “assignment” to free me from delay! DO it now!
- From today, every seed that I need to sow – physical, skills, hospitality to open the door of “speed” – show me and help me to obey.
” got my job back, and the cook was put to death.”
- The law of “random occurrences” will favor me and my family in Jesus name!
Gen 41:14 The king sent for Joseph, who was quickly brought out of jail. He shaved, changed his clothes, and went to the king.
- Lord! break the hold of delay and bring me out of all life’s jail!
- Lord! after now, clean me up! From the mud and shame of delays – clean me up!
- Lord! give me a new clothe!
- LORD – WHEN MY DELAY IS ENDED – BRING ME LORD INTO THE COMPANY OF GREATNESS!
