April Covenant Hour of Power: The hand of the Lord! Testimony – As usual, l attended and shared the link for April’s HOP with my friends. After the third day, l gave my covenant seed as usual but this time l sent my seed on an errand. I trusted God to do certain things for me in the month of April and l was expectant. I also dropped one of the prayer points at every service of HOP and God came through for us. My son didn’t only get his admission but got two admissions to good schools abroad. While that was on and still trusting God for the remaining prayer requests to be met, I applied to Forbes Technology Council 5th April. The admission process takes days or weeks but THE HAND OF THE LORD showed me mercy. I got a meeting invite to be interviewed by the council in less than 24 hours, during the interview l was put on hold for 15mins only to be told that the board of council approved my application instantly- This has never happened according to existing members of the council. I thought l was dreaming so l told God to show me a sign if this is His will for me. I don’t make decisions without the Holy Spirit and l knew this decision and excitement has to be stamped by God. The sign that l asked from God seemed impossible but God made it happen. I knew this had to be God’s hand indeed! The other request l wanted before the end of April didn’t happen but this Forbes admission crowned it all. I obviously didn’t realize how massive this membership was until l checked online and realized that the first female Nigerian that ever got admitted was in September 2022 and she doesn’t reside in Nigeria. I didnt see any other female Nigerian as Forbes Technology Council member online which implies l may be the second one. THE WORD AND COVENANT SEED WORKS!

May Covenant Hour of Power: God will do it! Testimony

When May started, l said to myself that every day of this month will be filled with testimony – I was intentional. As usual, l started the month with fasting and trusting God for balance of April’s requests plus May requests (Oliver Twist that l was). After the prayer session on Monday, l got a letter to be a Director in a Tech firm – small company but at least l am a director :). I was super excited and with thanksgiving l reminded my God of the daily testimony jokingly. May 2nd, l got an email from Forbes that the article l wrote last week (new member oooo) was approved by the editors and has been published….I said to myself – l must be Josephine Alala… how did that happen? This girl in Africa minding her own business but loving God daily is getting all these goodies from heaven? Yesterday 3rd May, I received the admission letter of one of the preferred schools l wanted for my son. This is the same school his sister graduated from and so we will get a discount in school fees. This is just evidence that the WORD works! I have faith in God that l will have testimonies daily!

I want to encourage everyone to trust God and be intentional.

My secret nuggets:

1. Fall in love with God daily….I tell Him l can’t take the next breadth without Him
2. As soon as l open my eyes daily while still on bed, l pick a word (promise) from the Bible before the family devotion.
3. I trust God to always come through on everything and He has never failed.
4. I ask the Holy Spirit before doing anything even as little as anything you can imagine.
5. I sow into this ministry
6. I remind God that we are in a covenant which l know He won’t break.
7. I intentionally live above sin by His grace.
