A COVENANT IS AN AGREEMENT. It can also be described as a contract, treaty, pact, accord, deal, bargain, settlement, concordat, protocol, entente, agreement, arrangement, understanding, pledge, promise,
BINDING ON BOTH PARTIES – As far as all the conditions are kept  – it will remain binding
EITHER SIDE CAN INITIATE  COVENANTS BUT NEED BOTH PARTIES TO BE WILLING TO IMPLEMENT -you have to be willing and obedient
NOT BASED ON FEELING AND NOT EMOTIONAL – It is your choice if you want to enter  a pact with God – not by Force!

7 SCRIPTURAL COVENANTS TO ENTER INTO WITH GOD FOR 2018 AND BEYOND

1. COVENANT OF SECURITY AND PROTECTION

From imminent destruction

Gen 6:17  For behold, I will bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life under heaven. Everything that is on the earth shall die.

Gen 6:18  But I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.

I, COVENANT WITH YOU LORD THAT FROM NOW AND INTO 2018 AND FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE   – THAT YOUR NAME, YOUR POWER AND YOUR BLOOD WILL PROTECT AND SECURE ME, MY FAMILY AND ALL THAT CONCERNS ME FROM EVIL.

 2. COVENANT OF UNCOMMON AND SUPERNATURAL FAVOR

1Sa 18:3  Then Jonathan made a covenant with David, because he loved him as his own soul.

1Sa 19:2  And Jonathan told David, “Saul my father seeks to kill you. Therefore be on your guard in the morning. Stay in a secret place and hide yourself.

1Sa 20:3  But David vowed again, saying, “Your father knows well that I have found favor in your eyes, and he thinks, ‘Do not let Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved.’ But truly, as the LORD lives and as your soul lives, there is but a step between me and death.”

1Sa 20:4  Then Jonathan said to David, “Whatever you say, I will do for you.”

I, COVENANT WITH YOU LORD THAT FROM NOW AND INTO 2018 AND FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE  – THAT FAVOUR, UNCOMMON FAVOUR, SUPERNATURAL FAVOR THAT MAKES IT EASY WILL REST ON ME AND ALL THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN  ME!

3. COVENANT OF DEDICATION TO GOD FOR YOUR SEED AND FUTURE GENERATION

Gen 9:8  Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him,

Jos 24:15  If you are not willing to serve him, decide today whom you will serve, the gods your ancestors worshiped in Mesopotamia or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are now living. As for my family and me, we will serve the LORD.”

Jos 24:16  The people replied, “We would never leave the LORD to serve other gods!

Gen 17:7  And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.

Gen 17:8  And I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.”

I,  COVENANT WITH YOU LORD THAT FROM NOW AND INTO 2018 AND FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE- THAT ALL THAT I AM AND  MY SEED AND THE GENERATION AFTER AFTER ME WILL WALK WITH YOU ALL OUR LIVES.

 4. COVENANT OF SOLUTIONS AND ANSWERED PRAYERS

Exo 2:24  And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

Exo 2:25  God saw the people of Israel—and God knew.

I, COVENANT WITH YOU LORD THAT FROM NOW AND INTO 2018 AND FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE – YOU WILL ALWAYS HEAR MY PRAYERS,  YOU WILL ALWAYS LISTEN TO ME AND ALWAYS GIVE ME SOLUTIONS AND I WILL NEVER BE STRANDED.

5. COVENANT OF OBEDIENCE AND SUBMISSION

Isa 1:19  If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;

Isa 1:20  but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”

 I, COVENANT WITH YOU LORD THAT FROM NOW AND INTO 2018 AND FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE  THAT I WILL OBEY YOU AND  SERVE FOR THE REST OF MY DAYS

6. COVENANT OF ABUNDANCE AND FRUITFULNESS

CHILDREN OF ISREAL

Deu 7:12  And it shall be, because you listen to these judgments and keep and do them, Jehovah your God shall keep to you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.

Deu 7:13  And He will love you and bless you and multiply you. He will also bless the fruit of your womb, and the fruit of your land, your grain, and your wine, and your oil, the increase of your cattle, and the flocks of your sheep, in the land which He swore to your fathers to give you.

Deu 7:14  You shall be blessed above all people. There shall not be male or female barren among you or among your cattle.

Deu 8:18  But you shall remember Jehovah your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, so that He may confirm His covenant which He has sworn to your fathers, as it is today.

 I, COVENANT WITH YOU LORD THAT FROM NOW AND INTO 2018 AND FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE, THAT I AND ALL THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME WILL NOT LACK AND WILL WALK IN ABUNDANCE

7. COVENANT OF HEALTH AND FULFILLMENT

3Jn 1:2  Beloved, in regard to all things I pray that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.

Exo_33:14  And He said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.

I, COVENANT WITH YOU LORD THAT FROM NOW AND INTO 2018 AND FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE, THAT I AND ALL THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME WILL  BE IN EXCELLENT HEALTH AND LIVE A  LIFE OF PEACE AND REST.
